Debate what to eat then maybe debate which movie to see

Canton restaurant uses fresh ingredients and has very good reviews from Santa Cruz Weekly, Good Times, Yelp.

Reservation has been set up. Long Walk to Freedom 6PM at Regal  Theatre was a pre-debate suggestion. Keeping this open for possible additional debaters.

I met great people, learned interesting things, had a great meal, and was home in time to cuddle with the pit bull. Doesn't get any better!

Rene, thanks for setting up this cool way to feed in good company on the Xday (& not to feel like an orphan).
I'm going to add to debate. Is anyone interested in "Saving Mr. Banks"? It's playing same time - 6:45 at both Del Mar in Cruz and the Aptos cinema. I'm still open to discussion.

This is such a neat thing for you to organize, Rene. Thank you. I grew up going to the only open restaurants one could find in my 'hood on Christmas Day, which were typically Chinese. Canton is a good choice anytime. Anyway, I have the same question as Carol. Can I order separately? I adhere to a pescatarian way of eating, which means I do not eat poultry or meats. Often, when I go with a group to a Chinese restaurant, the veggie or seafood dishes disappear before they get to me. Looking forward to dining with you all, and debating the movie. Best wishes,
