Go for a social night out, drinks and tapas

Slight change of plan guys and apologies for the short notice (poor organisation on my part this week I'm afraid!)...

Have changed venue to La Dolce Vita in Cow's Lane, Temple Bar (just off Dame street) as the Market bar was fully booked for tonight...left it a bit late to ring them I must admit!

Anyway, it's a really nice spot, think they do a bit of live music in there too at weekends. They don't do tapas and it's a wine bar as opposed to a gastropub but they do cheese/meat platters to share and that sort of thing....

Hope to see y'all later!

Have a look at the menu on their website if interested:

Also, apologies for legging it at the end of the night but was fading big time after I sat down and figured it was time to make a discreet exit....

Kudos to Sorcha for finding out a contingency plan at such short notice. Great organization, great food. Would you have a contact number for the 2 fellas who acted in that fight? I thought they were quite convincing.

Thanks Sorcha - very enjoyable evening. Not sure how you managed to arrange it but I definitely think that organising a post dinner bare knuckle street fight has really raised the bar for all the other organisers!:)

I'd recommend the Market Bar also Sorcha - nice and casual for a crowd , good food or folks can just have drinks if they wish - tables can be reserved

La Bodega in Ranelagh is great but that may be out of the way for people

Thanks Sorcha. I am not in Dublin unfortunately. How're you? Enjoying the summer? :-)

Hi Sorcha, good work organizing another social night. I heard that The Market Bar is good for a bit of Tapas too, I've only ever been there for drinks but I heard it's good and not too pricey. I'm easy though, I'll go wherever. See you on the 15th. A.

Hey Sorcha, how about the Market Bar on Fade St? Large tables so it can accommodate a group of 15+, food is great (large variety of tapas), prices are surprisingly low given the location and there's no blaring music so we might not need to scream to strike a conversation.

  • Ligia Q.

Hi Sorcha, I would love to attend it but will be in Spain that weekend, I have missed out all your parties:-(
