Introduction
My name is Ray. I am the organizer for 2 local paddling clubs. I love being in the outdoors. Love to paddle, hike, camp, backpack, and photography. I usually go and camp at least 1 weekend per month. My dog Jackson is usually at my side.
How did you find out about us?
From Rhonda. She is a member of my paddling club as well.
Where is your favorite location for outdoor activities (local and not-so-local?)
I travel all over NC and SC to paddle.
What outdoor activities are you interested in?
Kayaking, Hiking, Fishing, Photography, Camping, Backpacking.
What is your favorite outdoor activity and what is your skill level (novice, intermediate or skilled?)
Kayaking...intermediate only as I do not roll. I do anything from creeks to coastal

Had a great time on my 1st outing with the Berg's. Everyone was very friendly. Lots of various interest within the group. 1st outing was camping at Morrow Mtn. State Park and while the temps were on the cool side, the fireside chat was warm and friendly. I am looking forward to more adventures with the group. Lots of interest and events geared toward multi levels of ability.

HI Ray!
This is just a heads up for you and who ever.....I don't know if you are also a hiker...but, if you are interested in hiking up Mt. Mitchell, on Wed. August 1st, let me know. I few of us are going up. It is hard....8 - 9 hours on trail ( as I am slow).
