Dayhike Deer Creek Canyon

Directions to the trailhead: From the metro area, travel south on C-470 to Kipling exit. Turn west, (right) on W. Ute Avenue, then west (right) on Deer Creek Canyon Road. Turn left on Grizzly Drive, then right into Deer Creek Canyon Park.

The hike:We'll do a combination of these trails totaling about five miles. The elevation gain is moderate. We'll start this hike at 10:00

Dogs are allowed.

Check this website on Sunday morning to see if this hike is cancelled. There is a storm coming.

    Rain/snow possible for the weekend. Temps' near 32°. Dress in layers, extra pair dry socks n boots, rain gear, poles, ice spikes recommended. Great views and scenery grab your camera too. I live nearby, will meet everyone at the trailhead.
