Folks we go out there every spring and it's worth it. It's about a three hour drive out there but it's unlike any other place we go. Also this is wildflower season there.

The hike: This hike is as easy as it gets. It's three miles out and back and it's mostly level. But there is no shade. It's open prairie.
Riders be sure to help the drivers with money for gas. It's over 260 miles out and back. At 22 miles/gallon that's 12 gallons. At $4/gallon that's $48. Four folks in a vehicle that's $12 per folk.
