Turkey aka Thanksgiving weekend Hut trip

  • November 22, 2012 · 6:30 AM

This is an idea that I have talking about since my last hut trip. Come spend a weekend away in the mountains!

There will be more details added and sent to you once I know who is interested. And more importantly committed to this event. It will be pre paid to the 10th Mountain Division and that cost is approximately $35.

My tentative plan is to meet Thursday morning, drive to area. Backpack in and each person will be responsible for bringing a Thanksgiving day dish. I will carry and cook the turkey. Yum!

Since the huts have a stove and gas powered kitchen. You will use your culinary skills to make a dish to share.

Be thankful, you are in the mountains with great friends. We will snowshoe and hike around and come back Saturday morning.

Final details to come out 11/14.

Look at picture 189. That is the one of me with some Westcliffe locals and Matt doing the CLAW in the background!

Don't tell my family I said this, but that was the best Thanksgiving I've ever been to.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
