Dayhike Mount Galbraith park

Folks we're going to hike Mt. Galbraith before it gets icy and snowy like it usually does in the winter.

Directions to the trailhead: On S.H. 93 head North. Just past Golden the Golden Gate Canyon Road will be on your left. There is a light there and the road is marked with a large sign. Turn left and go about 1.5 miles up that road. The parking lot will be on your left in a curv.

The hike: This hike is a lollipop. 4.2 miles with an elevation gain of about 750 feet. We plan to start this hike at 10:00.

Dogs are allowed.

Bob did a fine job leading us. The little snow on the trail was handled by careful stepping nd traction devices. It was a good day with good people.
