No-shows and drop outs

Folks we are having entirely too many of both of these, especially drop outs. I ask that you not sign up for a hike because you 'might want to go'. We have so many people who want to go now that 'maybe' is no longer an option. Please only sign up for a hike if you fully intend to go on the hike. Dropping out at the last minute which a lot of people are doing is disrespectful to the amount of time AND MONEY -it costs me $14/month to run the web site- I put into running the group. It's also unfair to the other members who look at a hike and don't sign up because it's full with 10 on the waiting list. Then 20 of those signed up back out on the last day. Please take signing up more seriously.

Thank you,
