Announcing a new Meetup for Weekend Hikers...Plus!

What: Sally Barber Mine XC-ski Trip

When: Saturday, January 1,[masked]:30 AM

Where: a Woolly Mammoth Parking lot
18540 US HWy 40
Golden, CO 80401

I-70 should be moving quick and easy on this day. Lets drive to Breckenridge and ski this easy tral to some old mine ruins. Even though the trail is easy, you MUST KNOW HOW TO HERRING BONE AND SNOWPLOW!

Distance: 6 miles
Difficulty: Easy
Pace: Slow to moderate
Starting Elevation: 10,000
Elevation Gain: 800 ft.
Dogs: No
Lunch: Bring plenty of snacks to eat on the trail

Be sure you bring lots of water, wear sunscreen and dress in layers.
THIS IS A PARTICIPATE AT YOU OWN RISK EVENT!!

CARPOOL LOCATION:
Wooly Mammoth Lot, across from the Conoco Station, section BB. Exit 259 from I-70 westbound. This is the Morrison Exit. Turn right onto Colfax, then make an immediate Left onto Mt. Vernon Canyon Road. Continue until you see the Conoco on the right, then enter the lot on the Left. Look for my white Honda Civic.
