Announcing a new Meetup for Weekend Hikers...Plus!

What: Dayhike the Boulder North Foothills area.

When: Sunday, February 28,[masked]:00 AM

Boulder Open Space
5201 St. Vrain Road
Boulder, CO 80503

Folks we could use some more snow so I'm going to put this hike back up there so it will snow next Saturday night. I also think Danielle is praying to the wrong Gods. Try the snow Gods Danielle.

The address listed is for the Boulder Open Space Office. It is not the trailhead. If the trailhead has an address I don't know it.

Dry Creek Station
Directions to the Dry Creek park-n-ride: From I-25 and E Dry Creek Rd., head west on E Dry Creek Rd to the light at S Chester St. Be in the far left lane. Make a u-turn at the light. Now heading east get into the far right lane. In maybe 100 yards the lane vears off for a right hand turn. Now take the left lane that turns up into the park-n-ride. We?ll leave from this park-n-ride at 9:00.

If someone want to take charge of a Northern park-n-ride let me know and I'll put your information here.

Directions to the trailhead: Take I-25 and U.S. 36 to Boulder. From the intersection of U.S. 36 and Broadway go .4 miles North. The trailhead will be on your right. I don't know how large this parking lot is. We plan on starting this hike at 10:00 am.

The hike: The hike will be five miles out and back and mostly flat.

Dogs are ok on their leshes.
