I've been to this seminar many times and I think it's great to get *refreshed* every few years. It could save your life to know the latest on watching for avalanche snow traits. 1/15/12 at 6:30 PM and it's free.

Travel in Colorado's backcountry brings with it the danger of avalanches. Whether you ski, snowshoe, snowboard or snowmobile, recognition of avalanche danger is an essential and potentially lifesaving skill. Taught by an expert from Alpine Rescue Team, this presentation we will introduce and explain the components of avalanche danger, how to interpret avalanche bulletins, and some common red flag clues that indicate when avalanche danger is elevated.
