Where: Click the link below to find out!
Event Description: Alderfer 3 Sisters Park
Distance: 3.5 to 4 miles
Difficulty: easy to moderate
Dogs: Yes, on a leash.
10AM. Sunday, November 11, 2007
We will take a different set of trails than we did when we hiked here in late summer. We'll explore the west side of the park by walking the Bearberry and Mountain Muhly trails. It will be an easy to moderate hike through meadows, near a creek, under shade, and with views of rock formations. There may be some wildlife left around and possibly some birds who haven't flown south yet.
Please be sure to wear layers as Colorado weather is rather unpredictable. If weather threatens the hike, I'll send an email by Saturday evening letting those who RSVP'd whether we will have it or not. Always good to bring rain gear, sturdy hiking shoes, snacks, and plenty of water.
