Bridal Veil Falls is a 6.1 mile hike that starts at 7,855 feet and has just 977 feet of elevation gain. Want to see what it looks like? Here's a link to a picture and some additional information: http://www.protrails.com/trail/rocky-mountain-national-park-bridal-veil-falls. The forecast is for wildflowers, some walking in open space, and some meandering under trees. Perhaps we'll see some elk. And the water should be roaring this time of year, so bring your cameras. Just FYI, his will probably be my last "low" altitude hike for awhile. After this, I'll start posting higher elevation hikes where it's cooler. After the hike, let's grab a bite and a beer at the Waterfront Grille by Estes Lake. We can eat on their outdoor balcony or indoors where it's cooler --- both have great views!
