How about a fairly short snowshoe around McIntosh Lake while there's some decent snow cover, a not-too-demanding workout before the Super Bowl. The scenery should be great. Bring a pair of snowshoes (poles and leg gaiters are also nice), water proof hiking boots, water if you think you'll need to drink, sunglasses, and clothing layers for the predicted weather conditions. Current forecast is for partly sunny skies and temps around 25 degrees with light winds. There may be some bare spots but we should be able to work our way around them. If you don't want to snowshoe, that's OK too. The paved sidewalk around the east end of the lake has been plowed and the snow depth shouldn't be deep enough to make walking too difficult. We should be done before 1 pm.
I have a couple of extra pairs of snowshoes (and poles) if someone wants to borrow a pair and try out snowshoeing. Just let me know to bring them.
Starting elevation: ~5060 ft.

Here's a Google Map link to the parking lot.
