I would really like to go on this hike. I did a 15 mile with 3000 ft elevation two weeks ago and am pretty fit so do you think I could do this one? Thanks susan

What: Wrecks of Tam - Saturday August 27th
When: Saturday, August 27,[masked]:30 AM
Where: Mountain Home Inn

Mill Valley, CA 94941
Giulia will help me lead a theme hike to the sites of various plane and car wrecks, most of which are accessible only via secondary trails. Our route will take us to both the East and West Peaks of Mt. Tam and into the Simmons Triangle returning via the Coastal trail, part of the Matt Davis and Muir Woods. I estimate the mileage at around 18 with up to 4000 feet of elevation gain, and we'll hike at a brisk pace (3 mph moving average). Trekking poles may be helpful as we will be off the main trails part of the time.
