    Hello hikers

Kay suggested calling it the "Burro Hike." I like this. It fits with the animal theme and suggests a more steady on-trail sort of hike. What do you think? If several agree I'll propose it to Dave.

We can have fun discussing new names when we break for a snack! Nanny goat hike?? Too wimpy and sounds like just for females. We can do better. Non-goat is OK, but I think we can be more inventive.

maybe the word ,goat, does not need to be in the name?

I think it's time for a name change for this hike. The confusingly named goat- head hike ( which has nothing to do with the obnoxious weed), even caused a reporter to misname the goat-hike ( a name that DOES perfectly describes the style of hike).
I suggest using Mary's original name for these hikes-"Non-goat hike"

Thank you Dave. I'm playing the nomad now. Still living out of my van while I decide where to locate.
