What a fabulous day and a beautiful walk. Elizabeth I though about our conversation on hats and remembered Jackie Kennedy wearing hats as though they were easy for anyone to wear, then I remembered that sometimes wearing a hat is in the pinning. You can try a hat pin or put a rubber type band on the inside of your hat and then it will sit better on who ever wears that hat :o) Hope you and Dave enjoyed Heritage Days and your bike ride(s). I also remembered that on Father's Day Bob's daughter brought her two dogs. Dogs are always allowed as long as they are leashed and well behaved. Knowing we are all well behaved I am sure our 4 legged furry friends would role model our expectations ;o) Have a fantastic week and hope to see many of you again ... Cheers, Alexis.

Charlene mentioned "Letting Go" by David Hawkins -- sounds like a great book. He has written other good books as well on personal / spiritual growth. I mention "Angel Visions" by Doreen Virture -- she says some amazing stuff, when I was listening to her today she said "most blocks come from not listening." http://www.ted.com/ta...

Thank you Larry. I thought previously dogs had been allowed. I am going to bring mine, and if he is not welcome we will do the walk alone .

Hi Noreen, I've never seen anyone bring a dog on this hike before and our normal leader (Bob)is recovering from surgery, so maybe that's why you haven't had an answer yet. I know that's not a firm answer, but I just didn't want you to think that you are being ignored!

Hi Bob! Just joined the group and rsvp'd for the Mill Creek Ravine walk tomorrow, and I have a question...is the walk going to be on pavement, grass, or gravel, please?

Again, I will be away on my holiday on August 3, so hoping a co-organizer or other person who knows the Mill Creek route (not rocket science) can confirm. I see Brian so far and I think that Barb or Donna or Paul also know it well.
