Spring is here! The sun is out longer, The weather is warmer. Perfect weather for hiking. This week, we hit another great East Side Park. This week, we are hiking Pickerington Ponds.
If you are looking for a fast paced exer-hike, this is not for you. We are going to hit three trails, and four scenic overlooks over four scenic ponds.
We'll start at the Glacier Knoll Picnic Area. After checking out the overlook over Arrowhead Pond, We'll hike the Arrowhead Trail (1.7 miles). We'll check out the overlook over Blue Wing Pond then hike the Kildeer Trail (1.1 miles) to another overlook. Hiking back, we'll jump on the Yellowlegs Trail (0.5 miles) to another overlook over Ellis Pond. Overall, it looks like about 4 miles of hiking. Who's with me?
