Earth Day Cleanup - Scioto Audobon.

Hey Hikers,

It's Earth Day and it's time to give back.  We'll meet at the Grange Insurance Audobon Center at Scioto Audobon for Earth Day cleanup.  Projects will include a river clean up, removing invasive plants, planting native plants and working in the native gardens.  There will be opportunities for all ages and fitness levels.  Lunch will be provided.  So recruit friends, family, co-workers.  This will be a fun and rewarding morning.  Who's with me?

This event is sponsored by Greencbus.  Please volunteer at www.greencbus.org.

Under the "Pages" section of the HikeOhio website, I have instructions oh how to sign up.

Car in the shop. Suppose to get it back Monday. Hope so. Have been without transportation since Wednesday. Sorry to disappoint. :(

Thanks to our efforts, both of our Earth Day cleanup events have met their goal and are closed to volunteers. That doesn't mean just sit home and watch Spongebob. There are plenty of other sites around Columbus that need volunteers. Go to www.greencbus.org to volunteer for a cleanup site near you.

Hey Hiking Friends! I'm planning a month-long trip on the Appalachian Trail beginning the second week in May. I've been looking for a companion but I know that life and financial obligations often make it hard for people to have the freedom to get lost in the wilderness for a month at a time. Anyone interested???

I live in German Village and walk/run/ride through the park a lot to get downtown. Definitely up for giving back and helping to beautify this wonderful Metro Park!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
