The park is a topiary interpretation of George Seurat’s famous painting:

A Sunday Afternoon on the Isle of La Grande Jatte

We will begin and end the walk at the park.  We will visit murals and statuary along the 2 mile route including "The Unicorn in The Garden" near the Thurber House.

Parking meters should be free after 6:00 p.m.  Please confirm this before you walk away from your vehicle as the city has extended some meters to 10:00 p.m.

Wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

An "Art Walk" with friends and an opportunity to get to know new friends. Thanks for organizing the Mural Hike, Phil.

Did anyone happen to take a picture of the mural of Mt. Vernon Ave.? If so could you please post it or e-mail me a copy? Otherwise I will have to go back and take a picture. I can't believe I didn't bring my camera.

A nice breeze and scattered clouds helped make the walk enjoyable.
