  • to
  • Milton Reimer's Ranch Park

23610 Hamilton Pool Road, Dripping Springs, TX (map)

    30.333643 -98.122353

  • Car pool from 290 & 71 (the Y) at 7:30
  • We will meet for car pooling at the Planet Fitness parking lot (GPS[masked],[masked]) next to Jim's Restaurant (7101 W Highway 71).  Be there at 7:30 to sort out drivers/passengers so that we can leave there by 7:45.

It will take 30 minutes to go from there to Reimer's Ranch (71 through City of Bee Caves, 2Left on Hamilton Pool Rd - 12 miles to Park Entrance on Right).  Feel free to go directly and meet us at the park entrance at 8:15.

Recommend that we carpool as entrance fee is $10 per vehicle.  We will meet at the gate area and decide what hike to take there.  Hike will be 3-3.5 hours.Possible conversation topics:  If you could live your life in the setting of a movie - which one.

The Overton window is a political theory that describes as a narrow "window" the range of ideas the public will accept. On this theory, an idea's political viability depends mainly on whether it falls within that window rather than on politicians' individual preferences. What are your political opinions that fall outside our current Overton window?

Boston cops are outraged over plans to watch their movements using GPS, any irony there?

Or just how was your week, what are you reading,...

Dogs welcome I will bring Stokie.  Wear good shoes, bring water for you and any pup you bring. Try to be on time - as we will generally leave both the car pool location and the park entrance at the stated time.  If you are running late - call my cell.
