Hike Reimer's Ranch

We will meet for car pooling at the Planet Fitness parking lot (GPS[masked],[masked]) next to Jim's Restaurant (7101 W Highway 71).  Be there at 7:15 to sort out drivers/passengers so that we can leave there by 7:30.

It will take 30 minutes to go from there to Reimer's Ranch (71 through City of Bee Caves, 2Left on Hamilton Pool Rd - 12 miles to Park Entrance on Right).  Feel free to go directly and meet us at the park entrance at 8:00. Park opens at 8, so it may take them a minute or so.

Recommend that we carpool as entrance fee is $10 per vehicle.  We will meet at the gate area and drive on to the Rock Climbing Parking area.  Hike will be 3.5 -4 hours. Possible conversation topics:

What will you do in your driver-less car, with no steering wheel or human brakes? Dictate via your neural interface? Work out using gym equipment? What you say you will need a partner and darkly tinted windows?

What would you study or do if you were just starting based on what you know now?

What invention would change society the most in a good or bad way? What about the widespread adoption of a philosophy?  What governmental or political organization that has never been tried - do you think is feasible and a good idea?

What book or movie are you the hero of - in your mind - or is it a book/movie that you want to write or film yourself?  If so, tell the story.

What wild animal do you wish was domesticated? Pet otter for your seaside cottage, maybe.

Or just how was your week, what are you reading, job events, social events...

Dogs welcome, I will bring Stokie.  Wear good shoes, bring water for you and any pup you bring. Try to be on time - as we will generally leave both the car pool location and the park entrance at the stated time.  If you are running late - call my cell.

I'll be bringing my new rescue pup. She loves people and dogs but has short legs so not sure about her ability to keep up so also bringing doggie backpack in case I need to carry her. I may need to drive myself just in case she moves too slow for the group :-)
