Bull Creek Hill Hike

Directions - Turn onto Lakewood from either 2222 or 360, near the juncture of both roads, meet next to the larger parking lot at the dog park.  Near the rest rooms.

We will leave the dog park, go across the creek and up the hill from the dog park.  This trail winds around a bit and we will eventually come back to the creek level where Bull Creek passes under 360 the second time upstream (not much stream right now) from the dog park.

At the end there will be an optional creek walk downstream from the dog park for those who have brought water shoes.

Bring good shoes, good attitudes, water for yourself and some for your dog if you bring one. To talk about:

I'm really enjoying Coursera, let me tell you how it works or better yet, go take a course - they only cost if you want a certificate showing you went through the grading process, etc.

Google inside your house with Nest of Dropcam, does that weird you out, given the whole ads based on knowing more about you thing?

Supreme court says cell phones can't be searched without a warrant. woo hoo!

Supreme court rules against Aereo streaming service - doh!

Ninety-four percent of professional US workers put in 50 or more hours, and nearly half work 65 or above. ... This overwork shows up in our sleep. Today, 40 percent sleep six hours or less. A lack of sleep makes us poorer workers: People who sleep less than seven hours a night have a much harder time concentrating and getting work done.

What else - I relearning statistics, experimental design and thinking a lot about science, I'm thinking I can't promote evidence based thinking if I don't understand the the technical mechanisms to produce conclusions from data. Might help me professionally too.

Dogs welcome. Please try to be on time, as we will leave at the posted time, unless we get a call, so feel free to call my cell.
