Far West Deadend Trailhead - New Hike GPS (30.358862,-97.780675)

Should be light enough - given the time change - so I decided upon a 7 AM hike.  It may be cool or even a little cold, so dress according to temperature, wear good shoes, and bring water.

This will be a relatively short hike (estimated about two hours).  This trail winds around in the area between Far West and 2222.  It has some hills, nice little trail. I've only hiked it once, but it is worth knowing - given it is pretty and easy to get to for those who live in the north/west Austin.

As always we will leave the trail head at the stated time, unless you call and say you are running later.

For folks who don't use GPS much, it is at the corner of Far West and Ladera Norte, but from Mopac turn onto Far West and follow it (cross Mesa) all the way the dead end - stop, you are there. If you take a right you are no longer on Far West, but on Ladera Norte.

Also you can plug GPS coordinates into Google maps or any browser based map site or smart phone map app - and it will show you.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
