We will hike for approx 3 hours. We had enough rain that there will be places that crossing the creek may be require shoes that can stand a few seconds of 3-4 inches immersion. Or maybe we will be able to cross on the rocks and stay dry, but be warned.
Dogs are always welcome. I doubt if you will need water for your dog if creek water is good enough, but bring some for your self and good shoes. If you have magical objects of value to hikers - bring them a bag of holding, seven league boots, etc. Or just bring your magical personality!
Directions:From Mopac in NW Austin, head southwest on 360 aka Capital of Texas Hwy. Turn left on Spicewood Springs Rd, and then an immediate right (maybe after 1000 feet) onto Old Spicewood Springs Rd. Dirt parking lot is on the right after maybe another 1000 feet.
Please try to be on time as we leave pretty promptly, and sometimes I don't seem to get calls and my cell goes straight to voice mail.
