We will hike for about 2.5 hours, approximately 5 miles. This trail is pretty rocky in some parts so wear hardy shoes. Dogs are welcome but there is only one or two small watering holes so bring plenty of water for the dog and of course, clean-up.

The directions to the park are as follows: Take I35 to Georgetown. Exit Rt 29 and turn left (West). Travel 2 miles to DB Wood Rd and make a right. Travel 2 more miles to Cedar Breaks Park and turn left. The park is another 2 miles (approx) After passing the park entrance gate, the parking lot is to the left. The park is free for hikers but you'll need to sign in with the attendant.

I am sorry that I missed yall. I was running late and then went to the wrong entrance. I ended up hiking solo for about 1.5 hours. I will catch up with you another time.

Great hike, Lisa! I heard someone talking about a hike going on Sunday (10/3) with a lot of people going. Maybe at Bull Creek. Does anyone know about that? I'd like to go.

Hi Sarah. Please wear sturdy shoes. It's rocky in many spots. Dress comfortable and light. It will get warm. In addition to water, you may want to bring light snacks, trail mix or energy bar. Hope this helps.
