Spring has sprung which means there is more daylight for some short afterwork evening hikes. This hike will be a partial loop/partial out and back trail, with minimal elevation gain stretching about 4.5 miles. We will walk at a *fast pace* approx 3 mi per hour. While the elevation gain is minimal, please be fit enough to keep up with this pace to ensure that we finish before sundown. We'll walk along the Coastal Trail to the Golden Gate Bridge, walk to the midpoint of the bridge, then reverse back along both the Coastal Trail and Batteries to Bluffs Trail. The link below is the topo of the trails only, and does not include the additional segment along the Golden Gate Bridge:

We'll start promptly at 6:00pm to ensure that we finish while there is still daylight. I'll be wearing a black baseball cap. I hope to see you there! ~C

P.S. Please note: this hike is not part of the Bay Area Ridge Trail

FYI--We waited from 6:00 to 6:15 by the bathroom building. I figured the extra 15 min would give folks extra time to find parking. The heat wave brought many many folks out to the beach!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
