This is a reserved tour. We will take a 950-foot walk into the mine to see mine workings, ore chutes, the shifter's office (mine boss), and ancient geological features. Because of its size and the need for safety, visitors will be taken in only on guided tours, with a limit of 15 persons per tour. The tour is 90 minutes. We will do a hike after the tour. The hike will be a separate event that is also posted. Please sign up separately for the hike (Click me) . The cost for this tour is $5 per person. There is a $5 parking fee. Please bring a jacket - you will be underground for 60-90 minutes where the temperature averages 57 degrees F year-round.
This tour is pre-paid, so If you change your mind on going, please e-mail me at least 2 days before the hike or you will be considered a no-show and will still be responsible for payment.
