Looks like getting a group site is impossible for this weekend. So I will plan on getting as many individual sites as needed (8 people per site). Camp sites are on a first come first served basis. I will probably be there Friday after work to insure our sites. We will have Bay Area Ridge Trail hikes on Saturday (Hood Mt.) and on Sunday (Sugarloaf) that should already be close to being easy hikes but will make easier routes for those interested. This area is very neat as those who attended hike#31 saw. There are wineries everywhere.

Also, for those that are new to camping, see my my notes here:
doc: http://files.meetup.c...
pdf: http://files.meetup.c... Getting there and locating us- Drive around the campsites till you see me or my dark blue honda CRV. I will not know the campsite # till I get there Friday evening. WIll try to update the site from there once I know. Most of you I'll meet on the Saturday hike and so I can tell you then.

Food- To make it easy and since we are so close to downtown Santa Rosa, we'll just have have meals over there? Just bring your lunch stuff or buy something when we go into town for breakfast. You're welcome to bring your own food if you prefer.

Costs- Each site costs $30 per day and so if we get 8 per site the cost will be ~$4 per person per day.

I will probably leave Fremont around 1:30PM Friday.

My first time camping - got to setup a tent, started a campfire, saw a falling star (made my wish). Thank you Hugo for all the patience and not laughing at my huge suitcase. Also thanks to Dave for the ride home. Great hike, good choice of restaurant/wines, and nice team members. Great getaway weekend. Wonderful experience and I will definitely go camping and hiking again. :)
