Transit to the Ridge Trail on Saturday, March 27
Have you experimented with the cool new Transit and Trails interactive trip-planning website? It is a powerful tool to help you explore and access Bay Area trails via public transit, all while reducing your carbon footprint.
To celebrate, the Bay Area Ridge Trail Council is hosting a “Transit to the Ridge Trail” excursion with the site’s developer, the Bay Area Open Space Council on Saturday, March 27. We will meet up at the SF Civic Center BART station* and travel north on transit for a 10-mile trek through Marin and across the Golden Gate Bridge. Afterwards, relax with a cold brew from New Belgium Brewing (since no one has to drive!) before hopping aboard public transit for the ride home.
FREE - participants need to bring cash or their transit pass for the bus as well as water, lunch, and snacks.
Registration required at our website: http://www.ridgetrail...
Attendance is very limited, therefore we ask you only bring one guest.
Call with any other questions: Dena at [masked].
Details and transit instructions will be emailed to participants.
*Alternative transit options will be provided for participants coming from the North Bay.
