Meeting Point

Note the late starting time.  Old Green Barn Visitors Center.  From 680, take the Calaveras Rd exit.  Drive 4.2 mi along Calaveras Rd and turn left on Geary Rd.  Visitors Center is 1.8 mi on the left.  There is a $5 entrance fee and a $2 Ohlone Wilderness permit which lasts for a year.

Hike

From the Visitors Center, we will take the Ohlone Wilderness Trail west to Mission Peak; Laurel Trail; Ranch Trail; Eagle Trail and Peak Trail to Mission Peak.  If we have time, we will take the Grove Trail before returning to Sunol.  You should probably have a good breakfast as we will only have snack breaks until we reach the top which could be till after 1:30 pm.
