Hi all--About half of you are coming by BART, the other half driving. Can those who are driving pick up the others at Fruitvale BART? That might work to get everyone there. What do you think?

Park at the Redwood Bowl Staging Area, on Skyline Blvd in Oakland right across the street from Sequoia Arena where the 5 day hikers will be camped. Cross the street, come on over and join us!

After the hike we will be able to give you rides back to your parked cars and/or BART

    Hi Kyle and Julie,
I am so glad you will be able to join us on this hike--and hope you might stick around for dinner too! This will be a pretty good group--in addition to the people signing up here, we have ~30 already who are doing several days including Saturday--and about 25 on horseback, mostly using separate trails. Basically we are talking about an all-day trail party, followed by gourmet food, long distance hiking talk, and a raffle where everyone is guaranteed to win something!
