From 680, take the Calaveras Exit.  Head south east for 4.2 mi and turn left on Geary Rd.  After 1.8 mi, turn left into the Old Green Barn Visitor Center.  We will meet here, but you may have to park nearby if the parking lot is full.  There is a $5 parking fee.

Hike:

If you are interested, you could arrive a little earlier to see the exhibits at the visitor center.  The hike willstart with a steep climb up Flag Hill; Vista Grande Rd; Eagle View Trail, Cave Rocks Rd; Cerro Este Rd, McCorkle Trail; Backpack Rd; Camp Ohlone Rd to Little Yosemite; Cerro Este Rd and finally Canyon View Trail.  The route may vary a little depending on conditions and whether I get lost.

This is a buffet place with a price of $17, so not recommended for light eaters.  You can take Calaveras Rd south to Milpitas for a more scenic but windier route.

    Great hike, lots of fun, good people, beautiful day, and I saw parts of the park I hadn't seen before. The stream crossing and waterfall on Eagle's View trail was very nice!
