Hey Hugo

Just what I have been waiting for an easier hike or waiting at a campsite. Unfortunately I am limited to how far I can hike. But, I still love it. I have a 4 wheel drive SUV so I can carpool.

I am interested and available

Announcing a new Meetup for Bay Area Ridge Trail & More!

What: Fallen Leaf Lake Camping

When: May 22,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: This is a favorite place of mine to camp during the memorial weekend. The place is clean with showers and civilized bathrooms. It is, as well, close to a very nice beach at Lake Tahoe and hiking in desolation wilderness. Join me for three nights or just two? We wll split the cost of camping and firewood evenly but it sould not be more than ~$40 for each even if you stay just two nights (During this weekend the park requires a minumum of 3 nights.) It may be a less if we have full group. I presently reserved two campsites (12 people) but can reserve more if I see the interest.

Please indicate which nights you are coming.

Note that I will have a major hike planned on Sunday (CART #1) and probably two short ones TBD on Saturday and Monday. You don't have to hike with us and can come just to enjoy the camping. I'll come up with easy hikes upon request. For info on the campground see below:
For reviews see this:

I will post the hikes as seperate events to help with planning.

Posting will be updated as the gets closer and as I know who are coming.
