Are you looking for a new way to get active? Do you enjoy being outdoors? Searching for a cool group of people to hang out with? If you said yes to any or all of these questions, come join the Seattle Flying Dragons at Lake Union and Kenmore’s TL' awh-ah-dees Park (formerly Squire’s Landing)!! Dragon boating is a team sport originating from China that provides excellent cardio workouts and core and upper body conditioning. Practices are an hour long (hour and a half long on Saturday) and expect to be exhausted, but in a good way!! In addition to burning all these calories, paddlers will learn our paddle technique and racing skills. Most paddlers are trained and ready for races within a few weeks of starting!!
 
First three practices are free, and after that, it is $100/ year. The Seattle Flying Dragons practice year round- a little rain doesn’t stop anyone! In addition to a great workout, we offer (1) opportunities for social events,  (2) racing at local, national, and international events, and (3) being a member of a fantastic athletic community of all ages.
