Got Tuesday off? If so, let's hike to 3 alpine lakes near Snoqualmie Pass - Pratt, Lower Tuscohatchie, and Melakwa Lakes.

This will be a 1-way hike beginning at the Pratt/Granite trailhead and finishing at the Denny Creek trailhead. I led this hike back on July 3, a cool foggy day with Melakwa still iced over. Let's see if we can do better. Flowers, ripe salmon berries, and warm lakes to dip body parts into. Relax at the Denny Creek water park and slippery slide near the end. The hotter the weather the better for this trip! I love to do this hike each summer and you will too.

Stats: 13 miles with 3,500' elevation gain. Moderate social pace. Plan on a full day of hiking. Bring your 10 Essentials, good boots, and your smile. No dogs or babies.

Meet 8am at the Preston Park & Ride on I-90 at Exit 22. We will carpool to the trailhead at Exit 47 and set up the very short car shuttle.
