Activity Location:  Econfina Creek

 

Location Region (Panhandle, North, Central, South):  Panhandle

 

When and Where to Meet for Carpooling: 8:00am, Winn Dixie in Lynn Haven

 

Activity Description (what we might see, reservations or permits, trail mileage if applicable, type of terrain, etc): Come celebrate spring with us.  We will leave from the Scott Rd Trailhead where we will see Mountain Laurels blooming in profusion along Econfina Creek. We will go over a wonderful suspension bridge, see a waterfall and cross the new bridge at Brannon Branch.  Approximate length of hike is 4.5 miles.

 

 

 

Public or FTA Members Only?  Public, open to all

 

  No dogs

 

Limit to number of people, if any:  No limit

 

Rating (Leisure/Moderate/Strenuous): Leisure

 

What to Bring:Camera(great photo opportunities), small backpack/day pack, plenty of water, snacks, bug spray
