WOLF ENCOUNTER TOURS
The rarest opportunity in the lower 48 states, Alaska, or Canada, to experience wolves up close and personal. This unforgettable adventure takes visitors on a journey through large natural habitats that are home to Gray, Arctic, and British Columbian wolves. There the visitors become part of the pack!! Wolf Encounter Tours last approximately 2 to 3 1/2 hours. Fees are $15.00 per adult (ages 12 and up) and $8.00 per child (ages 6 through 11). Gift Certificates for tours are available.
IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING our Wolf Encounters, we offer SMALL ANIMAL ADVENTURE where you can See the Raccoons, Hug the Skunks, Play with Arctic Fox, Visit the Gray Fox, Meet Billy the Ground Hog, See the Coyote. Fees are $5.00 per adult (ages 12 and up) and $2.50 per child (11 and under)
- For your comfort, please don't wear anything you don't want to get dirty as you will be sitting on the ground with the wolves. For your protection and comfort, you must wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. NO SHORTS, NO SANDALS, NO FLIP-FLOPS.
- ONLY DISPOSABLE, NON-DIGITAL CAMERAS INSIDE THE WOLF ENCOUNTER TOUR!!! NO Digital Cameras or Cell Phones allowed inside the wolf enclosures! ALL RULES STRICTLY ENFORCED! There is a separate photography fee for those interested in photographing the wolves. Please see the Photography page for details.
- Seacrest has a pavilion and several picnic tables if you would like to bring a picnic lunch. Seacrest offers cold drinks for $1.00 each, or bring your own cooler with drinks of your choice (no alcohol permitted).
1. Gates open at 9am central time, please be here by 9 or 9:15am central time to sign in at the gift shop, the tour starts at 9:30 am central time. 2. No excessive jewelry for women- no hoop earrings, bracelets, necklaces, etc. 3. No Children under the age of 6 will be permitted on the Wolf Encounter tour. They will be permitted to go on the small animal encounter at the end of the Artic Wolf Encounter tour. 4. You can bring your digital camera but it WILL NOT be permitted in the wolf enclosures as they see these as toys, however it will be permitted on the small animal adventure. No high powered lenses are allowed on property without specific permission from Cynthia and Wayne Watkins. 5. No sandals, flip flops, tank tops or shorts will be permitted. You must wear long pants, closed toe shoes (ie tennis shoes, hiking boots) NO LEATHER, SUEDE, RAW HIDE OR FUR ON SHOES OR JACKETS, long sleeve or short sleeved shirts. Something that you won't mind getting dirty. 6. We have a great concession stand that will be open on the Saturday that you come. We have hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, crackers, cookies, soda, water, coffee, hot chocolate and more great treats to offer. If you prefer you may bring a picnic lunch as we also have a great picnic area. 7. Our Seacrest photographer will be there, we offer a great digital photo opportunity inside our second gray wolf enclosure where we try to get our "Brat Pack" up on the den and let you and/or your group stand in front of them and our Seacrest Photographer will take a digital picture. We offer 5 x7 photos for 10.00 and a 4gb jump drive with up to 10 pictures for 25.00. You must complete and print a release prior to our visit. I will collect money (please bring exact change) and your forms at the Winn Dixie parking lot. If you plan to meet us there, please have give me your form and money when we arrive.
