Note: Although the start-up time is indicated for 6 pm - we will wait till 6:15 pm (latest) to begin the walk (so this gives you a 15 min. leeway in getting there).
We invite you to participate in our
weekly cardio walks on Mount Royal.
This 1-1/2 hrs walk will put you in shape for our weekend hikes as well as for all other outdoor activities.
You must be prepared to climb the stairs of the mountain to begin the walk - the rest of the trails should be good even for beginners.
This has become a favourite mid-week exercise for many hikers and those who generally want to stay in some reasonable physical shape.
There are NO organizer fees being charged for this event and neither are there any other costs associates with it - other than getting to the location.
Getting there: From Metro Peel - walk up 3 blocks (max. 10 min.) to the top of Peel St (at Pine Ave) - where we shall meet at the beginning of the mountain stairs.
Parking: meter parking available on Peel St. (just below the Pine Ave intersection)
