The trail starts just off the Rt 73 on the outskirts of Keene Valley and follows Mossy Cascade trail up to the intercection to the trail up Giant, then a short jaunt up Hopkins for a total distance of 3.2 miles to the summit, 6.4 miles round trip. The elevation gain is 2120', so it is a fairly consistant climb with a few steep pitches. Read more
