Tell us what level hiking / walking / backpacking / climbing you are experience and / or interested in! Rate yourself -- 1 is Rail-Trail Experience, 10 is Mt. Rainier!

I would say my experience level would be about a 6. I am not a fast hiker but have done some long and tough hikes in the High Peaks including backpacking in Winter.

Tell us about your favorite hikes and / or times walking in the woods!

My favorite High Peak hike is Dix mountain but I love the view and hiking the loop to Black Mountain overlooking Lake George.

Are you an ADK 46er? Catskill 35er? Any other hiking accomplishments you would like to share?

I've hiked many of the High Peaks in the Adirondacks but never became a 46er.

What other outdoor activities do you like? Water sports? Rock climbing? Backpacking? Biking? Alpine / Snowboarding / Telemark / X-Country Skiing?

Day hiking, back packing, kayaking, roller skating, swimming, snorkeling, scalloping (in Florida where I live)

Tell us about your best and worst time out on the trail ...

Best trip was a 5 day winter backpack into Lake Tear and did Skylight, Grey and Marcy. There was a big snowstorm and we had the woods to ourselves. It was like a trip to heaven.

I live in the Tampa Bay area of Florida but grew up in the Capital Region and my family is still there so I come to visit often. I did a lot of hiking in the Adirondacks and when I lived in NY I was an organizer for Hiking Mates.
