Issue with directions.
Fred said that google directions put us at the wrong place. See his picture to determine where to go.

Rescheduled from last week

Our next adventure in hiking with dogs will be at Hurd State Park in East Hampton, CT. on Sunday.

Note: This hike is a Saturday hike. (We will have more Sunday hikes planned)

This park is a designated "walk-in" facility. Parking is available near the gate at the intersection of Route 151 and Hurd Park Road. (We will try parking there instead of the main gate to avoid some of the people)
(250 Moodus Rd, East Hampton, Middlesex, Connecticut 06424)

    ** Google direction vs Norman's directions ... **
Hi - Just a heads-up that there's a discrepancy with where Google drops you off (based on the address given), and where we're meeting up given Norman's notes right above the DEP website link. Here's a quick pic of our meeting spot - copy/paste this link into your browser:

Cheers - hope to see you all there on Saturday!

Great walk! Only one other dog-lover on the trail - we've now found a local pic-nic spot as well! BTW, check out Patti's acrobatics on that dangerous rattly wooden bridge (her new nickname is "Daredevil"!!).

The park is an excellent park for a hike and a picnic. The weather wasn't too bad! Might have to do this one agin in the future.
