All forms of music and literature grow from the energy of the people who love it, and some may say this is more true in hip-hop, jazz, and poetry than in any other. I joined this meetup to get together with others who shared my passion, and I'm hoping to save it so that through the sum of our collective passion we can touch the spirit of creativity and leave our mark on that which we all know and love.

BTW, in no way am I inferring that this group is limited to African-Americans - EVERYONE who loves hip-hop, jazz, spoken-word, written poetry and any form of expression that these elements touch is not only welcome to join, but encouraged to bring friends and be part of the synergy!
