Welcome, New York City Area Historians!

The History Interests Group Of New York City is an eclectic group of individuals curious about and/or interested in History, of various degrees and levels, exchanging and sharing their appreciation, enthusiasm, expertise and knowledge of History with each other. In addition, Members of The History Interests Group Of New York City seek to both learn more about and further their knowledge and understanding of History, as well as broaden and increase public awareness and understanding of History. Whether it is Local History, Regional History, National History and/or World History; Global History, International History and/or Transnational History; Ancient History, Medieval History, Modern History and/or Contemporary History; Prehistoric History, Protohistoric History and/or Historic History; MacroHistory and/or MicroHistory; and/or Agricultural History, Art History, Cultural History, Ecological History, Economic History, Environmental History, Financial History, Folk History, Industrial History, Legal History, Literary History, Military History, Nautical History, Naval History, Political History, Psychological History, Religious History, Social History, Technological History, et caetera, join together with other History enthusiasts and discuss your favourite areas, concepts, peoples, periods, places, regions, societies, subjects, themes, times and topics in History, and learn from each another!

All Members of The History Interests Group Of New York City are REQUIRED TO AND MUST attend and participate in, at least, one regular monthly "MeetUp" meeting of The History Interests Group Of New York City, every five months.
