Hi excellent group,
Wednesday's meeting was so much fun. Here's the highlight. It's 8:50pm. Greg Hicks is describing #7 of 9 important traits of happy and healthy people. This trait is APPRECIATION. Greg describes how important it is, how valuable.
And then the wonderful security guard from downstairs who is always here - she comes to the door, and says, could you please get the door for me? Greg opens the door, and she has brought a LARGE TRAY OF SANDWICHES.
You cannot believe how all of us - all of us about twenty in the room - yelled our huge thanks to her and how nice she was, and Greg said, "I really appreciate you doing this." It turns out there had been a lot of (really delicious!) sandwiches - tuna, turkey and pesto, chicken, chicken salad, and cucumber sandwiches! - left after an event, and these were all for us.
WE LOVED IT! And right on cue as our guest speaker Greg Hicks, author of CREATING BRILLIANT HEALTH, was talking about APPRECIATION!
Big thanks to LIONEL KETCHIAN (for speaking and bringing Greg), to GREG HICKS (our fabulous guest speaker), to Melissa, Nate, Lea, Heidi, Gill, Barry, Wanda, Verna, Joseph, Rashaan, Phil, Eli, Joaquin, Joe, Lauren, and Joan. Thanks for both those things:
1) the illuminating discussion of what good thing happened (and most of the responses being about "Friend")
2) your playing along with the goals game!
