Our third pool party and potluck was a great success, with about 70 attendees, so we'll be having another with at least three industry groups again -- the the Entertainment Industry Meetup, the Screenwriters Meetup, and the Hollywood Film Industry Meetup -- and I'll be extending invitations to other groups. (The pool area can comfortably accommodate 75-100 people, and there are additional areas with tables we can use). It'll be from 2-5 p.m. in Santa Monica near the Promenade. I'll send out location details to those who sign up Yes or Maybe in the week before the event up to the day before the event when sign-ups close at 11 p.m. Please use my cell phone the day of the event [masked] since I'll be at the pool.

As before, bring flyers, business cards, and we'll have name tags again so you can list what you are doing in the industry to help the networking process. Again, I'll try to coordinate what people are bringing to the potluck, so we can have a variety of different things.

Plus we will be continuing the raffle for prizes, so if you have anything you'd like to donate, let me know. You'll get a minute or so to let everyone know who you are and what you (or your company) do when you pick the winner of the raffle. We had some great prizes at our first raffle, including a bottle of wine, memory book, fashion jewelry, gift box of chocolates, video, and salsa dance lessons.

Bring your bathing suit if you want to go swimming, and there's also a hot tub and tents for changing.
