I would love to see a "Tech Talks" format on selected Ruby topics, maybe followed by a working group.

I want to come to learn something, but I am not currently working in Ruby, and the expectation of contributing is too intimidating.
That said, my laptop is a full development environment with Ruby 1.9.2 and 1.9.3.  Maybe a 1.8.9 in there somewhere too.

I would like to get involved in a group that does iPhone related work. I realize this group is different, but still fun to learn other things.

Hi all,

Just a quick email to get some discussion started around what people would like to get out of our weekly meetup.  I know the basic social aspect of the group is part of the draw, but is there more we could be doing to provide a "better" (however you choose to define that) experience?
