Let's plan on meeting at the park for this. I will plan a seed and vegetable swap. (so that those who do not have seeds can bring them).

I've only saved tomato seeds so far. Love the idea of sharing seeds!

Would you host at home? If you prefer to have it at a community center, (5875 Appian) we can book a couple of places close by. We''d just have to take a few $$ donation per head to cover use of space.

Oops it looks like when I signed up I marked Belmont location, I thought it was giving me a choice for a location to attend, and that was closer to me. I think now who ever hosts is supposed to mark it.....sorry, who ever lives there! Since I'm the newbie I'll wait for others to set up, but just in case, I can host. Darn, I wish I would have saved some heirloom tomato seeds.

I've been talking to David King with the LA Seed Bank so that we can have a Long Beach branch with support from Spring Street Farm and the Growing Experience. I'll try to have a seed saving class soon or if someone wants to set a date and host i can bring a random assortment of seeds.
