This was supposed to be a mushroom cultivation workshop. The first hour was spent on a slide show of the instructor's pictures of mushrooms he has found in the wild in California and Arizona. What does that have to do with cultivation?? He spent another half hour cooking a mushroom dish. Again, what does that have to do with cultivation?? When he did speak about cultivation, it was very disorganized. He didn't go over a step-by-step procedure. He just took questions from the group and answered them haphazardly. Sometimes with one word answers. There were no hand-outs and no visual presentation. I would have been better of spending the $25 (plus the gas to drive an hour each way to to Escondido) on the book - Growing Gourmet and Medicinal Mushrooms by Paul Stamets. 28 people spent $25. The host and instructor split $700 and all we got a ziploc bag that might or might not grow a few Oyster mushrooms. Huge disappointment.

Can't make it on a Sunday. I sure hope this class will be given again, hopefully on a Saturday or weekday.
