South Bay Botanic Garden and the landscape department of Southwestern College are holding their spring sale on Saturday, April 26th, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 in the parking lot at the intersection of Otay Lakes Road and H Street in Chula Vista. There will be a couple of other vendors there too including the college Clay Club - buy some nice ceramic pots for your garden and kitchen.
The landscape department's students and the Garden's volunteers propagate many varieties of plants and these will be offered on Saturday. Plants will include some natives including coast rosemary, Little John Bottle brush, a variety of sages and a lot of other plants. Also, a variety of succulents and ornamental plants.
Most gallon size plants are $5.00, some smaller pots are less and some specimen plants are slightly more.
There will be a nice variety of hot peppers, some sweet peppers, a variety of heirloom and hybrid tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs, etc.
